SUMMARY:Triumph Over Trauma
DESCRIPTION:The official launch of the Northern Shenandoah Valley’s Trauma-Informed Community Network (TICN). Our goal is to reduce the number of kids experiencing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and create a trauma-informed\, trauma-responsive community. \n\n\n\nFree screening of the documentary “Resilience.” \n\n\n\nSpecial speakers include Robert “Keith” Cartwright\, Adverse Childhood Experiences Coordinator\, the Office of Behavioral Health Wellness\, Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. \n\n\n\nAND Jimeca Iyomere\, Peer Recovery Specialist\, who will share her story of resilience. \n\n\n\nA free lunch will be provided.
