DESCRIPTION:Our annual pool party for rising middle school students will be held on Saturday\, August 6th\, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Claude A. Stokes Community Swimming Pool. This is the Saturday before classes begin! Supervision will be provided (volunteers are welcome!). Parents do not need to stay at this event but do need to pick up their children promptly.As always\, this is a free event. Music and fun are provided; refreshments are not.Participants (and volunteers) are encouraged to bring cans of corn\, black beans\, green beans\, or carrots to donate to the Linda G. DESCRIPTION:National Prevention Week is May 8th – 14th\, and to help promote healthy choices\, the Warren Coalition and Northwestern Prevention Collaborative are hosting a fun-filled event: Rock & Stroll! This free event will take place on Tuesday\, May 10th\, from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Families will walk through the available stations\, which will feature a variety of games and activities for children aged 4-11. In addition to a dose of fun\, each station will impart a lesson on healthy living\, such as using breathing techniques to control your temper or drinking enough water to stay healthy.

DESCRIPTION:Reaching Out Now will host their community baseball event in conjunction with the Front Royal Cardinals and the Logan Maiatico Foundation. The Safe At Home – Logan Series Community Day will be held on April 30th\, 2022\, at Bing Crosby Stadium\, from 4PM – 8PM. \n\n\n\nThe event will feature three games between Warren County High School and Skyline High School students\, parents and coaches. There will also be games for children\, a 50/50 raffle\, and concessions. SUMMARY:A Taste for Books
DESCRIPTION:A Taste for Books has been held at SAMUELS PUBLIC LIBRARY every April since 2012. All proceeds go towards improving the resources the library offers to the community – like providing literacy programs\, buying new books\, hosting free programs\, or updating public computers. \n\n\n\nAttendance has increased each year\, with around 250 guests in 2019. Each year has a theme\, and this year it’s On the High Seas. It’s an evening event where local businesses\, community organizations and others volunteer to host buffet tables at the library featuring decorations and dishes inspired by all things nautical.
