Recovery Kickball Game and Picnic

September 12 @ 10:00 am 1:00 pm

September is Recovery Month, and we’re celebrating all those in recovery with a kickball game of Team Recovery vs. Team Law, followed by a picnic that is open to everyone (RSVP required to ensure we have enough food). Read on for more details!

The Game

Gather at R. E. Mason Field (the softball field at 905 Stadium Drive, Front Royal) at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 12th, as a team of people in recovery take on a team of people in law enforcement in a friendly (but highly competitive) game of kickball! Bring posters, noisemakers, and your outside voice to cheer on your favorite team (or cheer them both on if you want)! You can also show your support for each team by making a donation online:

The Picnic

Immediately following the game (at approximately 11:15), Warren Coalition will host a picnic at Shelter #5, which is the large shelter at Lions Park (near the Fantasyland playground off of Commerce Ave). There is no charge for the picnic, and you do not have to bring anything. (However, the registration form does provide opportunities to sign up to bring a drink or dessert and/or to donate to help offset the cost of the food.)

YOU MUST REGISTER so we can ensure we have enough food for the event:
