During Red Ribbon Week, Warren Coalition staff visit both Skyline and Warren County Middle Schools to play “Red Ribbon Week Jeopardy.” In this version, participants have the opportunity to answer questions individually, and possibly win a prize corresponding to the value of the question.
While the 6th, 7th and 8th graders each have their own unique personalities, they are all similar in their drive to win. Classes can be initially shy, but each class gradually opens up and gets into the game. At the end of the week, with many prizes gone and many correct answers given– along with many explanations!–we hope the kiddos haveas good of a time as we do, and hopefully learn something along the way. While Red Ribbon Week will end, the mission of raising awareness never ends. So, we will take “Raising Awareness” for 500 and keep the game going!
