We work with clients at the Rappahannock, Shenandoah, Warren Regional Jail, providing free individual sessions and group classes.

Individual sessions cover topics on anger management, coping with anxiety, understanding and overcoming trauma, and addiction management.

The classes, which are provided separately to men and women, include:

  • Drug, Alcohol and Addiction Education
  • Anger/Anxiety/Trauma Management
  • Getting Ahead While Getting Out

Classes offered contingent upon interest, enrollment, and actual attendance.

Project Purpose

Through Project Purpose, we provide peer support services for individuals at RSW Regional Jail, to assist with their Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP). We also provide forward-facing trauma therapy as part of their recovery process.

Reentry Services

When a person is released from RSW, they often have nothing–not even a valid ID. We provide assistance with finding housing, food, and clothing, often by working with other local agencies. We also help them obtain identification, sign up for Medicaid, and find employment. Finally, we provide assistance with accessing treatment services, so that they can stay in recovery.
