During Red Ribbon Week, Warren Coalition staff visited both Skyline and Warren County Middle Schools to play “Red Ribbon Week Jeopardy.” In this version, participants got the opportunity to answer questions individually, and possibly win a prize corresponding to the value of the question.
While the 6th, 7th and 8th graders each had their own unique personalities, they were all similar in their drive to win. The classes could be initially shy, but each class started to open up and get into the game. At the end of the week, with many prizes gone and many correct answers given–along with many explanations!–we hope the kiddos had as good of a time as we did, and hopefully learned something along the way. While Red Ribbon Week comes to an end, the mission of raising awareness never ends. So, we will take “Raising Awareness” for 500 and keep the game going!
