We asked members of our community to share their thoughts about the Warren Coalition and the work we do in Warren County. We also asked former employees to share their thoughts with us. From now until the end of October, we will be adding written and video testimonials to this page at least once per week!
“I think the flexibility of the Warren Coalition is amazing to me. You guys are always adapting to what our community needs. And I’ve seen that firsthand myself. You know what we have struggled with, you know different things that our adolescents go through. You all are always looking out for their best interests and willing to create opportunities that would help whatever the present circumstances are.” –Jody Lee (Read more)
“Over the past 16 years it has been an honor and privilege to volunteer for the Warren Coalition, serving the Warren County community. I became a member of the Warren Coalition in 2008, and since then I have volunteered, participated in and witnessed countless successful programs and activities, but most importantly, I have enjoyed the camaraderie of new friendships.” –Daniel Lenz (Read more)
Humanity. In one definition, it’s the act of being a human being with the quality of being kind, thoughtful and sympathetic towards others.
I can honestly say that I had the distinct honor and privilege to serve and work with the Coalition; made up with the hearts and souls of people defined above.
Christa Shifflett and her amazing staff along with the membership; truly symbolize a passion to help those in need in the community and what better way than through the Warren Coalition, an organization whose mission is to build partnerships with other entities and utilize resources available to make a safer, healthier and drug free community.
I will forever hold the memories of my association with the Coalition and know that Warren County is truly blessed to have such an organization, made up with people who symbolize what humanity is all about.
Happy 30th Anniversary!
Love and Best Wishes!

“The Warren Coalition has done so much for HJB [Hilda J. Barbour Elementary School] over the years. After joining the fantastic Project Wahoo grant group in 2014, we received equipment that a public school normally couldn’t even dream about! We have received simple gear such as basketballs, tennis balls, hockey nets, etc. However, that is not all they have done! We have also been granted the funds for expensive equipment like gaga pits & an inflatable rock wall. Not to mention the impact they have had on our playgrounds! We have a world map painted on our blacktop, a large piece of playground equipment on the big kid playground, and balance bikes for the kindergarten playground all from the Warren Coalition’s determination to keep our youth active, happy, and healthy. The Warren Coalition has done so much for the local school system and community. I am proud to work so closely with such a dedicated group of people!”
